Description

Original UK 1984 release of SWANS (Michael Gira) second studio LP 'Cop' on  K422 label.  A much heavier and experimental album than the previous year's 'Filth',  this was SWANS at their early pinnacle as pioneers of industrial music.  The album is cited by AllMusic as "quite possibly one of the darkest recordings ever done".  Remastered & re-released in the 90s, this original LP is now very rare and hardly ever comes up for sale, so despite some damage to the inner sleeve this is still a worthy addition to any collection!

The record is in VG condition, I would say EXC but there are some surface scratches even though it plays just fine.  The sleeve has some wear and is a little frayed around the edges, plus there is a small price sticker in the upper right corner on the front.  The original B&W inner sleeve, with lyrics, etc, has been torn along the bottom & corner, and there is a piece missing - please see picture.

This LP is for sale from my personal collection.  I am not a dealer, but have used the eBay grading guide to rate the condition and have tried to be both honest & conservative!
