Original pressing of Pugh Rogefeldt's sophomore LP Pughish, released on the Swedish label Metronome catalog number MLP 15368. Incredibly-underrated Swedish psychedelic/folk-rock masterpiece... and unlike Rogefeldt's first album, it was never released stateside, meaning it's impossible to find in the wild unless you travel to Scandinavia. In the US we've never heard of Pugh, but in Sweden he's a household name, and had a string of hits in the '80s/'90s. If you collect psychedelic music, though, this is the Pugh album to own. It is absolutely mesmerizing from start to finish... Taking on a more experimental approach than his pop-oriented debut, Pugh began experimenting with the sounds of language as well, with more than one track here sung in the nonsense "Pughish" language, focusing solely on the impact of the lyrical sound as it rocks out of your speakers. The all-analog sound of the original pressings is remarkable, with a full dynamic range unrivaled by any of the digital reissues (and I've heard them all). On a trip to Stockholm, I spent the better part of a week digging through record stores around the city, and this was the best-looking copy that I could find... there are a couple ugly scratches that seem to have no effect on the sound, with only light crackle in the soft passages -- I give this the (conservative) Very Good (VG) grade. The sound is spectacular: once you've heard this album from vinyl you won't bother with any inferior CDs or downloads.
The cover is equally tough to find in clean shape, and this is a nice example, with a small 1" starting spine split, some light creases and scuffs, and a tiny tear inside the gatefold near the bottom of the spine. I put this cover at the conservative Very Good (VG) level. Overall this is a great copy, and another one will NOT be readily found on this side of the globe!

I ship all records in strong cardboard mailers with cardboard flats added to increase stability. The discs are always removed from the jackets to prevent seam splits, and all albums are dressed in plastic sleeves for travel.

Most of my customers prefer Media Mail because it is very cheap. Please keep in mind that it's cheap because it is slow. Most of the time these packages are delivered in about a week, but I have had Media Mail boxes take a month to travel 30 miles, and in excess of four months to travel cross-country.
