Description

This is the very obscure LP released on the UK MFP Label with `The Sweet` on side 1 and `The Pipkins` on side 2. It was the first ever UK LP released by the band, it contains several of The Sweets early Parlophone single releases that never charted here in the UK and are now very rare, including a great song called the Juicer written by their original guitarist Mick Stewart, the vinyl is MINT Matrix: Side 1 - SMFP 5248 A-1 Side 2 - SMFP 5248 B-1
Vinyl (M-) Even under bright halogen lights I cant see the usual light sleeve removal scuffs, no feelable scratches, Plays as new, no sticks or jumps - comes with original advertising inner
Labels - Lovely Clean Red/Black MFP labels with NO visible spindle lines
Sleeve (EX+) - Nice front laminated `Garrod & Lofthouse` sleeve with some laminate creasing, no bad edgewear (Please see photos for complete overview)
Packing Details – Every record will have the following: Records placed separate from sleeve to avoid knifing Sleeve and Vinyl placed in Polythene outer 2x 12” Card stiffeners to protect from bending Sealed in bubble wrap for extra protection placed in cruciform professional record mailer Quality Corner protection
Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in UK Record Collector Magazine below:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Near Mint, EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
