SWEET SMOKE - Darkness To Light LP

FANTASTICTIC early 70s US band mainly active in Germany and Holland playing ACID PSYCHEDELIA with long and very TRIPPY songs. GROOVY rhythm loaded with exotic percussions was base for long ACID PSYCH guitar solos, Eastern SITAR melodies, PSYCHEDELIC effects and improvisations!!! As they used to say - SWEET SMOKE was 'spiritual search for a state of musical expression where the ego lets go and the imagination plays with joy and spontaneity'. Anyway - these jamming FREAKHEADS created perfect sound to get STONED and HIGH!!! "Darkness To Light" is their 2nd album. 6 tracks including 2 very very long tracks, some titles: "Just An Another Empty Dream", "I'd Rather Burn Than Disappear", "Kundalini", "Show Me The Way To The War"... Absolutly one of the most PSYCHEDELIC albums I ever heard!!! 1973, Harvest (yellow green label, cat.no. C 072-29471), original German pressing with COOL gatefold sleeve. Sleeve is ex, vinyl is ex.
