Description
SWINDONIANS: 8-track ep (give me back my sanity / ring a ring of roses / nothing left / windowshopping // a sense of home / in the rain / sun is burning / song for the homeless)
HOPE RECORDS HOPE-C003 UK 1992 7" PS (with 2 different gatefold picture sleeves, yellow and green + xerox inserts) - also white labels (both sides)
obscure and very limited DIY release - fantastic acoustic C86 indie by ex-punks - stating "recorded at home using a Maratz SD-285 tape desk and a SHARP RT-3151 tape processor in Spring/Summer 1992" - the band is actually a duo (from Wiltshire) with Julian being the kid on the RUDI - Big Time poster (Irish connection?) and Mumfie was a member of ENDANGERED SPECIES (had a track on the BULLSHIT DETECTOR 2 on CRASS Records 1982) - includes insert handwritten by Julian (this is a xerox as the original remains in my collection) - also comes with 2 variants of gatefold picture sleeve, GREEN and much rarer YELLOW, superb condition except of the green sleeve which was originall folded in two but otherwise also in neat condition. Not sure if proper labels were issued but this copy has white labels on both sides.
