Description
SUPER RARE set of test pressings for the first attempt at a swiz box set. In 2012 Swiz began work on a 3XLP vinyl box set version of their complete discography, "No Punches Pulled" (JT-1009) on their then-label, Jade Tree. After remastering from the original analog tapes, plating, and approval of these test pressings, the project stalled. The plates were destroyed sometime after Jade Tree stopped operating and sold their back catalog to Epitaph (2016-ish?).
With the project never being pressed for sale and the plates since destroyed, only 5 copies of this particular set exist (those sent to the band for approval)... and not all of those are accounted for.
This is a mint, unplayed set of 3 test pressings. They come in plain white sleeves stamped with release info, but will include original covers and inserts for Swiz 12" debut (1988) and Hell Yes I cheated (1989) just for the hell of it (extras on hand).
NOTE: The SWIZ 3XLP box set was eventually released in 2025 (manufactured and distributed by Discord Records) as a one-time custom pressing that has sold out.
