Description
Very rare Stravinsky – Petrushka LP. Decca stereo pressing Wide Band Grooved label, ED2 variant ‘Made In England’ text. Comes with original Decca Ffss inner sleeve.
L’Orchestre de la Suisse Romande conducted by Ernest Ansermet.
1958 Decca Records (Cat.No. SXL2011) Condition: Cover: Vg+ / Disc: Ex
The cover itself is fully intact with no splits or tears, there is scuffing to the opening edge and the price of £1.30 written on the back cover. Overall graded as VG+
Visually the record has a few light surface marks but these do not affect play. There is background crackle to the opening sections of both sides but this settles down and is then only occasionally heard in the quiet parts. Overall this plays as Ex.
As with all my records the discs have not been cleaned as i prefer to let the buyer choose their own method of cleaning. As such i am sure sound quality would be enhanced.
