Description

Although the second edition Decca widebands do not have the same cachet as the first I can safely say this is a superb pressing of a superb recording. The signal to noise ratio of this highly dynamic recording of Munchinger & the Stuttgart Chamber Ensemble playing "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik", "Divertimento No.1 in D major" & "Ein Musikalischer Spass" is excellent. Fantastic clear sound quality & a great performance! Its not perfect though. There are a couple of brief periods of feint crackle, a handful of quiet pops & 4 light ticks at 5.15 of Band 3, Side 2. Visually there are a few minor scuffs including 2 feint whitish marks across the grooves of side 1. Otherwise excellent. The front cover is in super crisp condition as is the rear with only very minor signs of ring wear.  Every Thursday over the coming weeks I will be listing more records of increasing quality. I have many highly sought after titles in excellent condition which I would like as many buyers out there to see. PLEASE SAVE ME TO YOUR "LIST OF SELLERS" & CHECK MY OTHER ITEMS! All records are vacuum cleaned & listened to once in their entirety on a Technics 1210 with a brand new Ortofon stylus. All records come in custom mailers with 2 stiffeners. Records are removed from sleeves before posting & will come in a brand new dust sleeve. Where possible I will attempt to include the original dust sleeve. Records & sleeves will also be protected by a polythene sleeve I'll include as part of the sale. I will only send via either 'second class recorded delivery' within the UK or 'international signed for' for other customers.
