Decca  SXL 2296 Wide  Band  Groove Original Recording ED1 Falla  'Three  Cornered Hat'  plus Falla  'La Vide Breve'

Conductor  Ernest Ansermet  with  Teresa Berganza Orchestra De La Suisse  Romande

 Matrix/Stamper- Side 1  ZAL- 5138 4D stamper 1I  Side 2  Zal-5139 2D stamper 1U

Please  note  that  the   stamper  codes  are  very  faint  however  I  believe  that  I  have  read  them  correctly.

I  have  played  this  on  my  Linn/Quad  system and  consider that side  1  is  superb and  is in NM  condition bright  and  shiny with  hardly  no  surface  noise.Side 2 is  similar with 1 or 2 very  faint  ticks and is  again bright  and  shiny.The Cover/sleeve is in EX  condition very clean and  bright the  reverse has  some initials  in ink on it  which  can  be  seen in  the  photo. It  comes  with its original inner  sleeve  also  marked  with  the  same initials and  shows  slight  signs  of age colouration. The  record  was originally  supplied  to me  many  years  ago as  a Guaranteed  secondhand item  and has  the  retailers stamp on it stating  it  is  in  perfect  condition.

This  record  is  mentioned  in Robert  Moons book Full Frequency Stereophonic  Sound  and  rated  19 out  of  a max 20

I  consider  this  is  a  wonderful recording  and  this  is  an excellent  example  of  it.
