SXL 6054 w/b+g Ed1 – MOZART: CLARINET / FLUTE & HARP CONCERTOS – MUNCHINGER/VPO
1963 Decca stereo recording on wide band grooved label Ed.1 catalogue number SXL 6054. Alfred Prinz (clarinet) plays Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in A major K.622; Werner Tripp (flute) & Hubert Jellinek (harp) play Mozart’s Flute & Harp Concerto in C major K.299; Karl Munchinger conducts the Vienna P.O.
The disc is clean and shiny. Side 1 (Clarinet) has a very light 1½cm scratch which produces a few light ticks (overall on that side about 20 light random ticks). Side 2 has no visible marks; possibly 3 light ticks (maybe only static?) Sleeve is overall very good with some light edge/corner creasing and record impress; rear is discoloured.
