Released in 1970, this is the very strange debut album from the late PINK FLOYD vocalist SYD BARRETT. The album was released in January 1970 after he was replaced in the band by Dave Gilmore, who incidentally, produced the album along with Roger Waters. The album contains thirteen weird and very different tracks. If You have never heard this album you are in for a treat. The album which is a rare factory sample plays through beautifully free from any nasty skips or sticks etc. The album is 100% complete with its original Hipgnosis designed gatefold sleeve and the original Harvest company inner. A great seminal progressive album that would enhance any collectors collection. Not an album that turns up every day especially in this condition.

Tracks on this album are TERRAPIN - NO GOOD CRYIN - LOVE YOU - NO MANS LAND - DARK GLOBE - HERE I GO - OCTOPUS - GOLDEN HAIR - LONG GONE - SHE TOOK A LONG COLD LOOK - FEEL - IF IT'S IN YOU - LATE NIGHT.

The VINYL, The Vinyl visually and audibly is in excellent condition. This album I have just played for this listing purpose and it plays through superbly. absolutely no sticks or skips with just the odd light pop to be heard very occasionally.

The SLEEVE, The Ernest J Day printed and Hipgnosis designed front laminated gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition, with sharp edges etc but there is a a touch of wear to the top edge from the heavyweight vinyl, and a small mark on the front that cannot be seen unless you hold the cover at an angle.

The LABELS, The Harvest labels have a FACTORY SAMPLE sticker on one label otherwise they are clean but are showing some spindle traces when held at an angle. Needless to say there is no unwanted writing or sticker marks etc.

The INNER, The Harvest company inner is very clean and free from any splitting or unwanted writing etc

I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc
