SZIGETI / BARTOK – Philips AL 3525 Maroon/Silver – DEBUSSY / BARTOK SONATAS
Joseph Szigeti (violin) and Bela Bartok (piano) recorded in 1946 at the Library of Congress, Washington DC, USA, performing Debussy’s Sonata for Violin & Piano and Bartok’s Sonata No. 2 for Violin & Piano. Issued by Philips on maroon/silver mono label catalogue number AL 3525 (A 04325 L).
Disc is in fantastic condition with an unplayed appearance. Sleeve is excellent with minor discolouration and a tiny label and pencilled “O” on rear.
