Description

Up for auction is a beautiful NM- copy of BRAHMS 'Concerto in D Major for Violin and Orchestra OP.77' as performed by JOSEPH SZIGETI with the London Symphony (Herbert Menges conducting).


LP was released on Mercury in Stereo as Mercury Living Presence SR90225.
Trail off/Dead Wax has 'FR1' on both sides as well as 'P17' and 'letters 'AP' on side 1.

Vinyl is in Excellent NM- (Near Mint-) condition with only a few faint surface marks on the vinyl that does not appear to affect play! As with many recordings of this nature, some faint surface noise may be heard during quiet interludes and portions.

Album cover is also well preserved with excellent gloss retention and only slight/mild ringwear noticeable on the back cover. Light rubbing on corners that are still sharp and no seam splits or anything of that nature. Just an all around great copy of this rare audiophile quality recording!
