Description
SABA 15 063ST: NATHAN DAVIS QUINTET 'The Hip Walk'
One of the classic modern jazz albums made by visiting/resident USA jazzmen in Germany during the mid/late-60's, this features Davis (ss/ts/fl) with Carmell Jones (tp), Francy Boland (p), Jimmy Woode (b) and Kenny Clarke (d). It was recorded in Villengen on Sept.1st 1965. This is a German pressing with pink/black printing and box logo label in a heavy gatefold cover.

Side 2 'Yesterdays'/'That Kaycee Thing'/'Carmell's Black Forest Waltz'/'B's Blues'
CONDITION/DESCRIPTION: The disc is E (VG+) with some light to very light scratches, visible under a bright 'grading' light. These have little affect on the playing. The gatefold cover is EtoE- (VG+toVG), with some corner damage, including small splits to the top right corner of both of the parts of the gatefold. In the middle of the bottom seam of the back part of the cover there is a 3cm incipient split and heavy edge rubbing. There is also evidence of edge rubbing in other places. Some minor shadowing is visible too.
