Description

Saccharine Trust - Pagan Icons EP - SST Records 006 - 1981 First Pressing - VG

This 8-song EP is the debut release from Saccharine Trust, recorded in April 1981 and issued by SST Records in  December 1981.
This first pressing features a brown cardboard-colored "tip-on" style sleeve (later issues are white inside) and a printed lyric insert sheet. Please feel free to verify features of various release versions on Discogs if you have any concerns.

  • Overall condition is conservatively graded as VG. Vinyl is VG/VG+ with some light scuffing and a couple of small scratches on side 1. Sleeve is VG+, still in shrinkwrap with some minor creasing and corner wear. Insert is NM, no defects noted.

Guitarist Joe Baiza described ST as the "black sheep" of the SST family and that he considered Pagan Icons to be "a conceptual art project." The band continues to gig occasionally today.
Grading is subjective, I am not a professional dealer. I try to place myself in the position of the buyer and be as accurate as possible, listing any notable defects.

Shipping in US via USPS Ground Advantage, it's a bit more expensive but you'll get it quicker with less likelihood of loss or damage. (The only shipments I've ever had "go missing" were sent Media Mail.) Shipping to other countries is via eBay International Shipping.
