Description

Sahib Shihab Quintet        Seeds   stereo    Youngblood SSYB 12   white  label w/ small groove

Sahib Shihab (bar s, fl), Sadi (vibes, marimba, bongos), Francy Boland (p), Jimmy Woode, Jean Warland (b), Kenny Clarke (d)   Recorded 1968 

White label with small groove both sides.  "138 New Bond Street, London W.1"" address on back cover. 

 The record looks and plays VG++/M-. A few light, barely noticeable "paper" scuffs on each side which do not affect play. There's a heavier, but not into the grooves scuff on Side 1 Track 3 and a small, circular, light scratch on Track 2 that ticks lightly app 5 times.  Grooves do not show any wear or damage.   

 The light European style cover is VG+.  

    The front cover is shiny with moderate wear, ring wear and denting at the top corners. The back cover has heavy ring wear and small sticker. No split seams. Top seam has heavy wear. Spine is intact and readable. Small spots of denting and wear at the corners.  

 IN SEPTEMBER, I WILL BACK AND BE RUNNING MONTHLY AUCTIONS OF 50s and 60s JAZZ LPS INC BLUE NOTE, PRESTIGE, NEW JAZZ  RIVERSIDE etc. MANY WEEKS AND MANY NICE ITEMS TO COME.

 My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas.  I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied.  No hassles.
