  VERY RARE LIMITED TO 500 COPIES
This record was the soundtrack to the film How We Used To Live. A cinematic ode to post-war London by acclaimed director Paul Kelly, created using rare footage drawn from the British Film Institute's National Archive and original music by Saint Etienne with a narration by Ian McShane. 
From Bob Stanley's sleeve notes:
"This is Pete's maiden bow at a full length, solo recording, independent from a St Etienne co-credit. Miraculously, he has created the exact soundtrack of the London I know and have known - its gin palaces and theatre bars, roundels and route masters and record shops, always the cranes, always the rain. I feel stupidly proud of him, because this really is how we used to live, and this is a beautiful album."
The album was released by Heavenly in 2014.
