Description

Sam Rivers, "Contours". Original release. Blu Note BLP 4206. New York. Van Gelder. Mono. This record shows some light scratches and some surface scuffing. The album plays well with some light background crackles and a few light pops here and there. However, the music really stands out and covers up the flaws. There are some noticable crackles at the beginning of side 2 that dissapate once the song gets going. Overall, this records still provides a nice listening experience. The cover shows age and wear. The seams are still intact but the top and bottom seams are fragile and close to splitting. The back shows some tape...... Please view supersized images.
