Description
This is the original Van Gelder-stamped stereo pressing of Sam Rivers “A New Conception” on the New York USA labels of Blue Note BST 84249. (Although some collectors have reported a deep-groove, this is incorrect. The labels have a rim that, in some light, looks similar to a very shallow deep-groove, but is not.) The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. Similarly, the cover (in original shrink wrap) is in near-new condition – bright and clean throughout – with a promo indentation in the upper left corner of the front. Illustrated inner sleeve included. Personnel include Hal Galper, Herbert Lewis, and Steve Ellington. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL. Please do not bid unless you are comfortable providing credit card information directly.
