LABEL: Atlantic 8271 (1971 Stereo)
TITLE: Hard & Heavy
CONDITION:
Sleeve: Strong VG++ w/ a touch of front & back cover ring wear, a tiny spot of corner wear. A promo sticker and an X on the front cover.
Record: Looks Mint- and by the spindle hole it looks like this LP may have never been played but Side A plays w/ some background surface noise throughout the side but most noticeably in between tracks. Side B plays better, almost Mint- w/ just a whisper of light random background surface noise. / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: Original white label promo copy of this cool first solo LP from Sam (The Sham) Samudio. It was produced by Tom Dowd and features Jim Dickinson, Charlie Freeman and The Dixie Flyers as the backing band. Two great tracks also feature the searing guitar & dobro playing of Duane Allman on Sam's comp "Relativity" & John Lee Hooker's "Goin' Upstairs".
