Description

And their name is ... Sandy Coast, very rare ORIGINAL Lp by the Dutch Beat/Psych band Sandy Coast.

Released in 1968 on the Marble label with the label number MALH - 202.

Made in Holland, first pressing!!

Cover is in EX+ condition, clean and unwritten, a little bit of ring wear.  

Vinyl is in EX-/VG++ condition, plays perfect, some tiny scuff and faint hairlines, that gives sometimes background noise , hardly audible.

Great opportunity to get this first record of the Sandy Coast, Very rare record, hard to get even in Holland.

Original 1968 stereo/mono Holland-only LP. Solid garage/beat/folk-rock/mod album by this band revered for their later psych releases.Despite their way un cool visual image, these guys earlier, beat/garage-oriented sounds are pretty impressive in their own right. "Subject Of My Thoughts" is totally brilliant jangly folk-rock/garage, and has been featured on many comps, rightly so. Other fab winners include: "A Girl Like You," "We'll Meet Again," "That Girl Was Mine," "I'm A Fool" (also on comps) & their take on the Small Faces' "Sorry She's Mine" . Think the Byrds meet the Searchers, w/ a dash of that Dutch garage magic included - highly recommended to any/all fans/collectors of '60s garage &/or folk-rock &/or Eurobeat.
