Sandy Denny - The North Star Grassmen And The Ravens.
Here we have one of best ever copies of this LP i have ever seen. It is an original 1971 Pink rimmed Island labelled Vinyl LP in gatefold sleeve. It is a first pressing with the matrix numbers A1 U and B1 U. Catalogue number is ILPS 9165. It has the original Island inner sleeve and is housed in gatefold sleeve. The sleeve is in excellent+ condition, as i said before, one of the the best i have seen. These sleeves are normally dinked and worn but this one is beautiful to look at.I very much doubt the sleeve could be bettered these days.The original pale blue Island inner sleeve is excellent_ condition with just a little fading. Visually the vinyl is in Excellent condition at least. I would have rated it excellent+, however there is a 1cm long feint scratch between songs one and two on side one. I cannot play test my vinyl any more but i don't think it would cause a problem during playing. I can't feel the scratch with my finger tip at all. Apart from this the record looks fantastic, just one or two of the feintest hairlines when studied under a bright light.
