Mega Rare Sanford Clark - They Call Me Country Vinyl Ember – CW 131 Rockabilly
This is a hugely sought after record and a grail record for many collectors of Country but equally after listening to it, i think it's very early Sun label Cash, Presley and Perkins about it and would appeal to Rockabilly fans. I have to say it's an exceptional listen and that's coming from somebody whi isn't that into Country. Every track is a belter. All filler/no killer and i'm sad to see it go.
It's a rare record and there are several UK pressings of it. Not really sure what the 1st pressing is but it's the early Ember type label and dates from 1968, although the recordings are from the 50's i think and produced by the legend Lee Hazlewood.
Would make a superb Christmas present for that special someone who loves Country or Rockabilly..
This album rarely comes in original press and this is a very decent copy indeed.
