Description

NOT a 1st press from 1970.. we estimate during the course of 1971. Matrix A3/B2. Well worth trying to find the copies pre-oil crisis.. Many reissues were made but you really want to find the heavy pressed copies for best audio. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original cover....note it has a slight rouge tint to it - these are the earlier covers. We also have a CBS inner from the time too. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete. Super looking copy...
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In super condition and clearly has only seen light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slightest marks per side - nothing troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Now, you can certainly go out and purchase a half-speed master, or an Mfsl reissue. But just bear in mind you'll probably pay more than we are asking for on this copy. And I wouldn't mind betting this copy will still likely run it into second place! In fact, I'd put  money on it! hardly any background even into the fussy slow builds. A consistently great playing copy.
Cover (Ex) The front and rear are nice and clean and flat with hardly any sign of handling. Nice firm openings with an excellent interior.  The spine is 95% good with all text legible fully legible. Spine is square also which is nice to see. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. I have to say it is looking well tidy!
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. No splits.
