Description
Satin Is Real T-1277 1st Press Louvin Brothers. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Media Mail or Priority
Beautiful copy of this hard to find classic . You would be hard pressed to find a better copy . Look at the pics .
Some Flaking but no seam splits . Slight yellowing on back . Most of the text on the spine is readable .
I will say that the cover is what’s collectible and I give the cover a conservative VG +
The record is nothing to sneeze at either . Some spindle marks on label . The record retains most of its luster with some non feel-able scratches as evident in pictures .
In the side 2 pic the marks look way worse than they are and its guaranteed to be superficial and non feelable .
Thick and heavy early Capital pressing that are known to play better than they look . Visually a VG+ and listening I’ll give it a conservative VG but most sellers would easily give it a VG + or better . I always undergrade as if I were to buy it . A all around great frameable record and your last copy with no need to upgrade.
This is from my own collection and if I didn’t need to sell it during these trying times , I would keep it . There is no way I could find a better copy . I have had 6 copies of this in the past and this by far the best one . The pics don’t lie . All sales are final but if you have a legitimate complaint I’ll consider it but no squabbling over lowering the price . It’s as I describe it . I haven’t had a need to sell in the past but I have Sold a NM copy of Elvis’s Ist lp along with a 3rd State Beatles Butcher album fetching $1200 , All 3 Nick Drake UK 1st presses amongst many others .
This isn’t my first rodeo so Bid confidently . I accept PayPal as my only form of payment . U.S. only . If elsewhere , contact me before bidding .
If Purchased using the BIN option , I’ll pay for shipping in the U.S.
Immediate payment via PayPal at auction end .
Depending on how this auction goes , I might list some John Martyn . Ist U.K. pressings of London Conversation and The Tumbler ....
Good Luck . ?
