Description
Up for auction is a rare, 1964 original mono copy of ‘Saturday Club’. An early compilation featuring a collection of performances/songs by The Rolling Stones, The Vernons Girls, The Tornadoes, Brian Poole & The Tremeloes and many more, as broadcast on the BBC Radio show, ‘Saturday Club’. This is one of the earliest compilations to feature the Rolling Stones and the whole album is a perfect slice of musical history!
Condition:
Vinyl: G+ - This record has clearly been to a few parties, with various marks and scuffs to both sides. This is largely cosmetic, however, as the album has been test played in full and sounds great! No skips or jumps, though there is some light crackle and surface noise throughout.
Sleeve: VG- - Sleeve is in good condition, with the colours still nice and clear. There is some creasing to the laminated flip cover and a 2 inch split to the bottom right hand corner. Spine has a few very small splits and creases, but the title is unbroken and clear. I hope all of this is clear from my photos.
This is a long out of print and uncommon compilation and very hard to find these days. A must have for any Rolling Stones fan! Don’t miss your chance to own this gem!
Thanks and good luck!
