Payment | Shipping Scarce label-Broderick 1700 (Grey Gull)

Here is yet another label which I have never seen before in all of my years.

Offered is Broderick 1700, clearly a Grey Gull label, but perhaps a personal pressing (?) My first thought was that Broderick's might be a small department store chain, but I could find no reference to this.

The composer credit on both sides is listed as (P.J. Broderick).

The titles of both sides are both related to Grey Gull's home base (Massachusetts).

Both sides are sung by Ben Redden (bass/baritone) with Orchestra accompaniment, and entitled "Massachusetts" and "On The Lexington Battle Green."

Probably recorded in 1926 or 1927, the red shellac record is in excellent (E) condition. Both labels are fine.
