Description

Schumann; Piano Concerto
Samson Francois
Super rare - original Columbia single sided, white label test pressing. This title never commercially released on UK Columbia.
Matrix XLX 747 22F   stamper - G
Exactly the same matrix of another Columbia test pressing - of the same title, previously sold on Ebay-May 13th 2018. This *may* be an earlier test pressing of the same recording, given the blank, pre annotated factory label, or possibly the side 2 of the original recording. Or possibly unique.
No sleeve.   VINYL  beautifully glossy- visually NM..almost no sign of play. Early on, a tiny almost invisible needle mark appears to produce light ticking for 10 seconds or so, the rest of lp plays with a little static here and there, which could be in the pressing.
A super rare recording.
