Description
Here for auction is a very rare original 2 LP set.1st UK edition of ASD 602/3 with Carl Schuricht and the VPO playing Bruckner's 8th Symphony.Released in 1964 this is an early edition with factory sample label's and earliest 1G stamper's.....Side 1 matrix 2YVH 66 -1 stamper 1G. Side 2 matrix 2YVH 67 -3 stamper 1A. Side 3 2YVH 68 -2 stamper 1G. Side 4 2YVH 69 -2 stamper 1G
I have played nearly all of the two discs and can safely say that the vinyl is in fine EX+ condition.Very clean and free of marks with a nice sheen on all sides.I noticed some occasional light crackle in a few places, but it's minor and has diminished since being professionally cleaned on a Loricraft with Audio Fidelity solution and vinyl wash.......Both discs lie nicely flat on the turntable and have fine,clear and undistorted sound.No problems at all...One of the best you could find......Satisfaction guaranteed.
Cover's are in EX+ condition....Nice corner's and spines,no splits or damage.Just some general light sign's of ageing in a few areas on back of cover's (seen seen in photo).Very nice examples./////.Label's EX+.Could only see a couple of spindle marks when viewed closely.
Comes with original inner sleeves in EX condition.
