Music
Quote from the back cover:-
“This ya a youthful sound fe come mash y’down! Once only in a decade comes a new roots reggae phase such as this Scientist and his social role in public entertainment. Now you can share in the musical potentialities offered by this most vital area for future research dubwise, in a accordance with the talent invested in this man who is (was) still a youth.
Sounds new and essential to contact the jaded perception of the brain and confuse it. Dub Chemist kill’’im! Seen!”
- Produced & arranged by Henry ‘Junjo’ Lawes
- All rhythm tracks laid at Channel One Studios
- Mixed at King Tubby’s by Scientist
- Featuring Roots Radics Band
Classic dub album, rare as hen teeth and in outstanding condition - see pics. This will be a severe test for your tone arm / cartridge setup. If setup properly, with your turntable isolated and speakers spiked be prepared to be ‘moved’.
Tracks:
- Seconds Away
- Straight Left
- Upper Cut
- Kidney Punch
- Saved by the Bell
- Right Cross
- Jab
- One-Two
- Below the Belt
- Knock Out
NB. I've converted this album (on a high end system) to FLAC, with little or no pop / click removal - not bad methinks after over 30 years of owning this album.
