Description

The Vinyl I am selling will be Play Tested and I will give an honest account of any issues or defects with the item, this will be subjective as everyone has their own opinions as to the grading of a record but I will be as accurate as I can and should you require any clarification as to the quality or any other aspect I will be happy to answer your query. I will also give a description of the quality of the cover and any picture sleeve or booklet that comes with the record as I know this is very important to record collectors. I will show as many pictures as I can in order you can make an informed decision as to the quality of the record. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase when you receive it I am happy to refund you, but please be aware you will need to pay the return postage. The Records will be carefully packaged in a correct custom LP cardboard mailer with sufficient protection in order the item will not be damaged. All the Pictures are from the item I am selling and not generic pictures taken of the Internet. Thanks for looking at my products and do not hesitate to contact me regarding any issues or queries.

Description

Scorpions “VIRGIN KILLER” on the RCA Record Label PPL1 4225 from 1977  is the fourth studio album by German rock band Scorpions. It was released in 1976 and was the band's first album to attract attention outside Europe. The title is described as being a reference to time as the killer of innocence. The original cover featured a nude prepubescent girl, which stirred controversy in the UK, US and elsewhere. As a result, the album was re-issued with a different cover in some countries.

In December 2008, the image again gave rise to controversy when the British Internet Watch Foundation placed certain pages from Wikipedia on its internet blacklist, since it considered the image to be "potentially illegal" under the Protection of Children Act 1978. This resulted in much of the UK being prevented from editing Wikipedia, and significant public debate on the decision. The decision was reversed by the IWF after four days of blocking.

The Cover of this Album is the less controversial version showing just the members of the Group.
