Description
First press of Boogada Boogada Boogada on Chicago label Roadkill Records. I purchased this record myself at the record release show at Durty Nellies in Palatine, IL. January 29th, 1989. Features the naughty poster, included with the first 200 pressed only. (See image with Roadkill Records flyer, inlcuded.) As a bonus, I'm including an original flyer from the show which I picked up at the venue a week or two earlier. Flyer has some general 26 years' worth of wear, 4 tack holes and creases but no tears. The flyer itself is cool as it was the absolute first place any of us ever saw the iconic weasel logo. This package is 100% original and includes all inserts and lyric sheets as well as the previously mentioned poster which is also rare. It wasn't until the much later Lookout! edition that the nude bowling picture was used with the album art and only the first 200 sold came with the poster. This is among the first few dozen copies of this classic record ever sold and I purchased it directly from the band. Incidentally, pictures of the band on the back cover were taken at the same club where this record release party took place. The record is in VG+ condition with NO scratches or scuffs, sleeve also in VG+ condition with no tears or seam splits, minor shelf wear. I have been buying/ selling/ trading records for nearly 30 years. I grade strictly, so you can be confident you'll be getting what you pay for. Solid copy of this record with a lot of history.
