This is the first official live release involving Sleep. It is exclusive to the Vault subscription and was never made available for general retail sale, making sealed copies increasingly rare and collectible.
DESCRIPTION:
Up for auction is a brand new, factory sealed copy of Sleep's Live at Third Man Records, Third Man Vault Package #39. This is one of the most sought-after releases in the entire Vault series and a landmark document in heavy music history. All original contents are included and the outer shrink wrap is fully intact.
What's Included:
4 different colored vinyl LPs (purple, orange, blue, and green), each in their own individual jacket, housed in a sturdy slipcase, a reproduction of the original show poster, and the Sleep/Third Man Records mission patch.
About the Recording:
Recorded on December 12th, 2018 in the Blue Room at Third Man headquarters in Nashville to a live audience using a direct-to-acetate system, mixed and mastered in real-time. Seven lacquer cuts later, this quadruple Sleep live album spans 26 years of their career.
