Description

New unopened shrink wrapped copy of the Seldom Scene "Live at the Cellar Door" in Washington, DC on Rebel Recording Co label.  Still in its original undamaged shrink wrap!  Recorded live at the famous Cellar Door on M Street in Georgetown, DC on December 27 and 28, 1974.  The Seldom Scene, a local Washington DC quintet, was probably the finest bluegrass group ever!  Yes, I say that in spite of my love for the Country Gentlemen, a close second IMHO.  All of the original Seldom Scene members are featured including the fabulous John Duffy and his remarkable tenor / lead vocals, and most of their most memorable songs are featured.  This may be the most collectible bluegrass record ever.
