This is one of those phenomena that can't really be explained... the only way to understand it is to listen... I never thought I would hear a Latin/ Cha Cha version of 'Smokey On The Water' nor did I ever expect to hear a Mambo version of 'Riders On A Storm', but here we are! Huge waiting lists on Discogs worldwide & a copy in this condition easily sells for well over $100.00!! ... Following from Wiki... Led by Uwe Schmidt and inspired by his move from Germany to Santiago, Chile, the Señor Coconut project revisits classics of the 70s and 80s, reinterpreting them with a Latin flair! ## The Vinyl is described as Near Mint & was fully play-tested playing with near perfect play-back, virtually no background & no skips or stops. Very few signs of play. No spindle marks. There are just a few extremely fine hairlines & near invisible sleeve marks to both sides of the record. The Vinyl has retained nearly all of its rich waxy lustre. The Cover is described as Excellent. There is some minor visible edge/spine & corner-wear. There are some fine cracks to spine & edges with associated wrinkles. There is a tiny amount of ring-wear to front & verso. There are some very minor colour losses to edges & spine. No seam splits. Original price sticker & barcode to top right front cover. Please see attached photos & message me Henry Butler with any queries....
