Set/10 JOY DIVISION, The Cure, NEW ORDER, The Stranglers, MINNY POPS, Cabaret Voltaire, LENE LOVICH 7" 45'S and more....

Rare, once in a lifetime opportunity to collect a set of 10, original owner, 7" early 1980's groundbreaking euro "new wave" and punk singles featuring some of the most influential bands in modern music history.  Extremely rare and obscure, collectible imports.  Includes the following:

1. Joy Division 1980 Factory Records (Fac 23, black/silver label - Made in England).  A - Love Will Tear Us Apart, B - These Days....(England's most harrowing and revered punk band.  Both vinyl and cover of this highly collectible single are in Excellent condition). 

2. The Cure  1979 Fiction Records (Debut Single - Made In England).  A - Jumping Someone Else's Train, B - I'm Cold....(Before they became goth pop monsters, the Cure were a minimalistic, and very inventive post punk power trio).

3. The Cure 1979 Fiction Records (Second Single - Made in England).  A - Boy's Don't Cry, B - Plastic Passion

4. New Order 1981 Factory Records (Fac 63 - pale green/teal label - Made in England).  A - Temptation, B - Hurt....(Joy Division's remaining members transform themselves from goth rockers to electrodisco pioneers.  Both vinyl and cover of this highly collectible, very early single are in Excellent to Near Mint condition).

5. Minny Pops 1982 Factory Records (Fac 31 - pale gren/teal label -Made in England)  A - Goddess, B - Dolphins....(Dutch electronic pioneers began in Amsterdam's underground Ultra art movement.  Both vinyl and cover of this ultra rare single are in Excellent to Near Mint condition). 

6. The Monochrome Set 1980 Dindisc Records (Made in England).  A - Apocalypso, B - Fiasco Bongo....(Very early English post-punk band featured witty lyrics and a laconic lead vocal delivery.  Both vinyl and cover of this extremely rare single are in Excellent to Near Mint condition).

7. Lene Lovich 1982 Stiff Records (Made in England).  A - It's You, Only You, B - Blue....(American singer based in England with quirky art school inventions fused with contemporary punk and new wave styles.  Both vinyl and cover of this highly collectible single are in Excellent to Near Mint condition).

8. The Stranglers 1977 A&M records (Ultra Rare Third Single).  A - 1. Something Better Change, 2. Straighten Out, B - 1. (Get A) Grip (On Yourself), 2. Hanging Around....(Longest surviving and "continuously successful" band to originate in the late 1970's UK punk scene.  Extremely rare, pink vinyl promotional 4-song EP). 

9. Cabaret Voltaire 1980 Rough Trade Records (Made in UK).  A - seconds Too Late B- Control Addict....(Essentially a trio of non-musicians from Sheffield, England, they featured early looping, editing and sampling techniques.  Both vinyl and cover of this extremely rare, very early single are in Excellent to Near Mint condition).

10. Bow WowWow 1982 EMI Records (Made in UK).  A - Louis Quatorze, B - Mile High Club Road....(Early 1980's band created by Malcolm McLaren to promote his and business partner (Vivienne Westwood's) New Romantic fashion lines.  Co-written and produced by Malcom McLaren.  Both vinyl and cover are in Excellent to Near Mint condition). 

***This collection represents an outstanding retrospective of the early 1980's european punk,new wave and electronic music scene.  Extremely collectible and rare, out of print and nearly impossible to find items in wonderful condition.
