Set/7 Bohemia, the The, Pylon, The Suburbs, The Individuals, The Skunks, Girls At Our Best 7" Singles....Rare Imports

Once in a lifetime opportunity to collect a set of 7, diverse, original owner, 7" early 1980's punk, new wave and experimental singles featuring musical visionaries and obscure artists.  Highly collectible, extremely rare, and impossible to find.  Includes the following:  

1. Bohemia 1982 VU Records.  A - Empty Roon, B - I Wanna Cigarette (Live at On Broadway for WXRT's Un-Concert)....(Well-known Chicago punk/new wave band from the late 1970's to the early 1980's.  To my knowledge they only released a 10" debut single (1980 Automatic Mind), one album (1981 Deviations), and the above listed  7" single).

2. the The 1981 SBL Records (Made in England - Ultra Rare second single).  A - Cold Spell Ahead....(Early version of "Uncertain Smile"), B - Hot Ice....(Fundamentally, a British musical and multimedia group led by singer/songwriter/frontman Matt Johnson.  In 1983, they released one of the most critically acclaimed albums of the year, the synth-noir classic "Soul Mining" ).  Note:  Extremely rare...I have never seen this item listed before

3. Pylon 1981 DB Records.  A - Crazy, B - M-Train....(A member of the early Athens, Ga. new music movement, which also included REM and the B-52's, they featured a danceable, jangle pop sound and played on bills with formative bands like Gang of Four, Love Tractor and Mission of Burma). 

4. The Suburbs 1978 Twn Tone Records (Ultra Rare Debut, red vinyl, 9-song 33 rpm EP).  A - 1. Memory, 2. Go, 3. Stereo, 4. Teenage Run-In, 5. Chemistry Set, B - Your Phone, 2. Couldn't Care Less Anymore, 3. You, 4. Prehistoric Jaws....(A very popular alternative punk rock/funk/new wave band the "suburbs of Minneapolis, Mn.).

5. The Individuals 1982 Plexus Records (Ultra Rare singleA - Dancing With My 80 Wives, B - 1. Our World, 2. Seven Hours By Motorboat....(Along with the dB's, the Bongos and the Feelies, they were credited with originating the "Hoboken Sound"  They released only a debut EP (1981 Aquamarine), one album (1982 Fields), and the above listed 7" single).

6. Girls At Our Best 1980 Record Records (Ultra Rare Debut Single).  A - Getting Nowhere Fast, B - Warm Girls...(Post punk band from Leeds, England (also home of Gang of Four and Delta 5), they created discordant guitar masterpieces and cool 45" cover art and videos).  Note:  Extremely rare...I have never seen this item listed before.

7. The Skunks 1980 Skunk Records (Extremely collectible, Rare single).   A - What Do You Want, B - The Racket....(Three-piece rock band formed in Austin in 1977.  Their music channeled garage rock and punk, playing in both CBGB's and Max's Kansas City and opening for The Ramones, The Clash and the Cramps, among many others).  Note:  Extremely rare...I have never seen this item listed before.

NOTE:  All discs have been rarely played and are in Very Good to Excellent plus condition.  Covers are in Very Good to Excellent plus condition.  There is a small personal signature in pen at the bottom edge of each cover.
