SEX PISTOLS God Save The Queen 7" Uk Virgin Recs VS 181 SIGNED By Rotten, Vicious, Cook & Jones
This was signed at Mr. Georges Club on 17th December 1977. It was autographed for my friend Mick along with some other sleeves. He and my brother went to the show with some mates and got let in the soundcheck to meet the band and have a drink. Mick & I went to see some great bands together including The Clash loads of times and The Jam as well. We both went on to have successful careers in the music industry, Mick as journo and me as a manager/agent most recently with Stiff Little Fingers. Mick went on to become a respected author and journalist and has written a number of books about the Pistols. The most recent is called "Young Flesh Required" published by Helter Skelter. Check it out on Google. Mick has written a letter if provenance which is included in the pictures. If you can't read it properly let me know and I'll email you a better copy.
The record is still in Ex+ condition although Paul Cook's signature is a little faded now but the rest of the signatures look brilliant. The disc is graded at VG+/EX
