This is an all original 1980 Virgin early release of the Sex Pistols Great Rock 'N' Roll Swindle album. This includes both the Original Book (newspaper) "A Novel by Michael Moorcock" and also the Original 40" x 30" full color Movie Poster. This was given to me as a gift back in 1988 and I have stored it carefully on a bookshelf ever since then with the poster folded inside the sleeve and the newspaper folded outside the sleeve but inside the clear plastic outer sleeve, exactly as I got it. I realize this may be pretty valuable to a Sex Pistols collector so I will try to describe everything as thoroughly as possible but understand that I am not a collector so please don't take any comments I make as a professional grading. Album: The vinyl record is in excellent condition. It looks hardly played. In fact I have only played it one time in the entire 30 years I have owned the record. The labels are undamaged with very little to no spindle marking. Side One has the green label and has V-2168-A3 etched in the runout. Side Two has the red label and is etched V-2168-B-1 in the runout. The plain white inner sleeve is undamaged.

Sleeve: The album cover is in near excellent condition. There is virtually no wear on the front, back or spine. There is a price sticker in the upper right corner and it also has the original white circular sticker indicating "V1268 INCLUDES FREE BOOK". There is a very slight circular impression from the record and there is some creasing in each corner.

Book: The original newspaper  is in excellent condition with no cuts, marks or tape. It is slightly yellowed from age and has very slight cracking along the edges but no tears. It is made up of 2 sections, each one containing 3 sheets, for a total of 48 pages. There are no page numbers, but that looks to be complete.

Poster: The original movie poster is in near mint like new condition. It was never mounted, no tape or pin holes. No tears or any wear marks at all. The color is excellent and glossy. Naturally it is creased from being folded. The back is very slightly yellowed from age and has no marks aside from what looks like one dirty thumb print. I personally only took the poster out of the album sleeve twice in the 30 years I have owned it; once when I first got it and the second time when I took the pictures just now.
