Description
This is Sex Pistols incanabula, the first released document of a show at the 76 Club in Burton upon Trent, England, on September 24, 1976. The bootleg itself was pressed in 1979, and looks more like a zine than a record album. The sleeve isn't a sleeve, but a fold-over piece of pasteboard, with zine-style clippings front and back. The record labels are black on both sides; there's no sign of a record company name.
This is unavailable on Discogs and is just barely visible on Ebay!
Included are the LP, sleeve, and a generic lined dust jacket.
The vinyl is pristine (NM), and allow me to paste what I typed elsewhere in the listing, a bit of caveat about bootlegs: Note that some bootleg albums were pressed in small plants or done after hours by not the best personnel. In the case of this album, there are signs of dimples in the vinyl along the very outer edge and at the edge of the (blank black) label. These defects don't affect the playing surface; they are an artifact of the secretive conditions that bootlegs were produced under.
As for the sleeve, it is VG+, bright and in great shape for a fragile sleeve (not a traditional sleeve at all), showing just a little wear, and with the inner uncoated surface tanning a bit.
