Description

This is the initial pressing of the Sex Pistols’ rare SPUNK LP.

Rush-released before 'Never Mind The Bollocks' in the U.K. in early October 1977, this comes in a generic white sleeve with matte off-white labels printed in pink and with purple text.

It’s the first pressing with the correct matrix details:


Matrix / Runout (A side, etched): LYN 4732-111 BLA - 169 - A MAX

Matrix / Runout (B side, etched): LYN 4733-111 BLA - 169 - B MAX


The vinyl is in Very Good (VG) condition except for two skips. At the start of the second track on side 2 (Problems) it skips forward one groove and it skips back a groove on the next track (Lots of Fun). I’m play-grading on a high-end and super-sensitive deck and these may not cause a problem or be rectifiable by adding a bit more weight on the tone arm.
