Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band The Beatles 1967 YEX 637-1 YEX 638-1 Wide Spine The Spine is 8 -9 mm in width ! These were dropped very quickly from production + are thought to be some of the first printed Lovely laminated cover with rub to top + bottom of spine.Very small nick to back top edge but overall excellent Mothers are Side One 2 MP + Side Two 3 0 N or M or 11 The Gramophone Co Sold In UK...... Rim Text KT purchase Tax Code to side 1 label Psychedelic Inner Bag by The Fool who originally expected to do the cover ! On 04-Mar-14 at 19:54:28 GMT, seller added the following information:Its thought that these wide spine Sgt Peppers form part of the advance orders prior to the 1st June 1967 release.
Originally the Beatles wanted the items that are on the cardboard cut outs as individual pieces within the Album as give-away`s . Its thought that the width of spine was to accommodate this initial plan Due to the complex production difficulties involved the Idea was dropped + instead produced as printed with cardboard cut outs of the items The wide spine was then redundant + could then be that much thinner ! The above album was almost certainly pre ordered in fact the Revolver XEX 606-1 that came with it was very quickly withdrawn so again a pre orderprice rating
