Description

Here we have a First UK Pressing of this iconic album in glorious Mono as it is best heard. This record can be described as being in VG condition using the Record Collector Magazine Gradings. The Cover has some creasing to the laminate but no writing.  There is a little wear to the corner of the spine. The Sgt Pepper Cut out card is complete and MINT. The inner bad is the white one and not the Fool one . It is in VG  condition with a couple of small splits on the seam. The record itself plus between VG  and Excellent. Side 1 matrix is XEX 637-1 Mother 2 Stamper RLA. Side 2 is matrix XEX 638-1 Mother 4 Stamper RPG. The labels have the KT tax code and Sold in the UK message. Overall this is a typical example not pristine but very respectable and with plenty of playing life in it. It has been played on a high end Pro-Ject deck with Ortofon Black 2 cartridge and found to have excellent dynamics.
