Description
Sheffield Labs Direct to disc Clair Marlo Let it Go AUDIOPHILE LP Cover:VG
Vinyl: NM This is an Original pressing.
This was given by Sheffield Labs to exhibitors at The Consumer Electronics Show to use as demo material. I have many multiple albums (one or two open and others sealed) and will be listing the sealed ones first so keep tuned! I will be listing many special CES test pressings of Sheffield material so check back often. This recording was taken from a very early number off the stamper and (as I recall) sounds fantastic. All the samples distributed at CES for demo are very early numbers off a specific stamper, which are much lower in noise.
This is one of many Sheffield Labs records being sold from my private collection. I was in the industry (high end audio) and have many special pressings and collectible albums that I will be listing so please check my other auctions (they are coming). My specialty is Prog rock and mint Japanese pressings, as well as audiophile pressings. All records that were actually played by me were cleaned first on a VPI cleaning machine and spun on a Micro Seiki 1500 FVG air bearing turntable with FR FR-64 Fx tonearm and Fidelity Research MC-202 cartridge. My collection has been in storage for 10 years in climate controlled environments and never exposed to pets or smoke. All albums are kept in plastic sleeves to avoid warping and most inner sleeves (if the cheap paper) have been replaced from day one of opening the album with liners made by discwasher or Mobile Fidelity.
Buyer pays $4.00 shipping and insurance fees. I ship in heavy cardboard mailers that will ensure safe passage to your door.
Condition Notes:
Records are generally graded on visual inspection.
Mint: A brand new, SEALED record, never played.
NM: Near Mint. An unsealed record that looks as good as new.
VG++: Excellent. Light cosmetic flaws that should not affect the sound.
VG+: May have cosmetic flaws, mild surface noise or short patches of ticking, but should sound fine overall.
VG: May have moderate noise throughout or one or two bad patches from scratches. Still fine for general listening.
Good: Noisy, but plays through. I will only sell very rare or unusual items in this condition.
Please contact me for a refund if a record plays worse than described.
