Description
Rare double A-sided 12" single pressed on blue vinyl, containing the two biggest hits from Sheila ( & ) B. Devotion.
The track of choice is obviously Spacer from 1979 (featuring Nile Rodgers) - subsequently plundered and sampled into the awful Crying At The Discotheque by Alcazar.
It's backed with Singing In The Rain from the year before - not quite such a classic but it's very much of it's time when Eurodisco lacked the black American touch.
The vinyl plays beautifully on both tracks with pin sharp high-end and no playwear - rather impressive considering it's nearly 40 years old. Both sides are pressed bang on centre.
Viewed under strong light, there are clearly visible rub marks. Coloured vinyl doesn't contain the hard carbon that standard black vinyl does but these are not scratches and there are no crackles, clicks or pops.
12" singles famously play much better than the standard 7" owing to the spread and depth of the groove, so I'm confident that you'll be more than happy with the sound on this.
I'm a fussy so and so and I wouldn't be selling it if I thought it would disappoint anyone.
It comes in a plain black card sleeve which is slightly split open along one of the seams but intact apart from that.
