Description
For Sale - Excellent sample of black ink for your next dinner party or scratch-n-sniff convention. Thanks to a weasel which cancelled some business orders, and those other 'riffs, this little Big Black piggy just went to Market. Somewhere in a Newbury Comics in Boston in 1994 (ok, that's where), Steve Albini and the worst trumpeter you ever heard defaced some poorly stamped paper, and the rest was sadly, history. Likely signed with a trouser minnow-sized sharpie, and before the show I would have missed only to see these Shelackees later at the Black Cat in D.C. Vinyl is flawless, despite the stupid looking dust and hair in the image which wiped away super easy with some sandpaper and a full wipe down with Weston's Brand Liver Oil (since 1927). You can fully appreciate the light cover wear, given the apparent Canadian design features, and there is no extra charge for lack of authentication which only leads you right back to that hated-shiny can of livermeat—Bob Wurston.
I will never forget the stunning work of these Artists, which would have been missed entirely but for the purchase of a secondary, and not collectible record featuring the same noise, garble, and sporadic thumping. What are the chances that by auctions' end we can lose the chopped liver and double the value of this record, however shamelessly?
RIP Chopped Liver, only you could have ruined the sound at so many Rachel's shows, and topped it off by signing my super awesome Steve Albini record. I can only think of the first thing I can find all over my kitchen which has tasted better for years, even more than your mushy wurst.
Here's a hint. Dog Poop. Yes, Wurston likes Flour more than Big Black, and so he's just the Wurstman. (ok, maybe not true).
Buy my record or the ex-girlfriend from 30 Years ago gets it on her doorstep with a can of Bob's. (maybe I should thank her for buying it for me).
Buy it for $1000 or whatever the hell Hurts, you want. If you do I will take a picture of me holding your purchase standing on a stool like I am a complete idiot at the end of Wingwalker. If the record survives, you'll still get it.
Just in case, it's in my Will, right next to the part about leaving nothing for Bob Wurston. - Adam, Boston, Mass. (31-years later).
For Steve, Nobody mic'd it up a little better next time. =)
