Description

This is the original deep-groove pressing of Shelly Manne Plays "Peter Gunn" on the black and gold labels of Stereo Records S7025. The record appears to be mint in all respects. The cover is very close to mint, as well: bright and clean throughout with sharp corners and perfect seams. Stereo Records was a short-lived subsidiary of the Contemporary labels. Its producer, Lester Koenig (also the founder and owner of the company) and engineer, Roy DuNann, are universally regarded as having produced recordings of the highest sound quality, of which Stereo Records was the epitome. Reply card is included. Personnel includes Victor Feldman, Herb Geller, Conte Candoli, and Russ Freeman.
