Probably the first Female writer of the Rock-a-billy era, Jackie DeShannon (Sherry Lee) Started of course in country and like most started on an obscure record Label.
Available is her first effort on MAR-VEL records pressed in 1956
Shockingly I was going to toss it at first as my wife and I like more Rocka in our Billy... but it would be a shame to deny a true hard core follower of the Rocka-billy movement this opportunity to have something produced from the core roots.

Oh, and the record would be maybe a G in condition... several scratches and wear, but plays strong without skips.
