PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS LP FOR THE QUALITY OF THE VINYL BUT RATHER FOR THE VALUE OF THE AUTOGRAPHS.


The opera is called, "La Favorita" by Donizetti.     


This is a hand signed, autographed, 3 LP vinyl record box set with booklet, signed by 3 opera stars, Spanish Tenor  Alfredo Kraus (1927 - 1999), American Barbara Hendricks (born 1948) and Shirley Verrett (1931-2010).   It is signed on both the front cover of the box set and inside the booklet by all three of them.   Each one signed twice.    The other featured performers on this opera were James Morris and Pablo Elvira.    It was conducted by Eve Queler. 


I can't find the name of the record company.   It says "private recording" on the label but the release number is BJRS 148-3.


  

I have provided photos of the front cover with the autographs of the box set, the page in the booklet with the autographs signed by their photos, the records and a little sample of what is inside the booklet.  



   The autographs are not personalized.     By visual inspection only, the vinyl appears to be in excellent condition.   The album box is also in very good condition.
