Original 1st UK pressing of Shocking Blue’s 2nd studio album “At Home” released by Penny Farthing Records on September 30, 1969. The album was the band’s 1st studio album to be recorded with Mariska Veres. It’s quite rare to come across a hype sticker on any UK issue cover. The cover of the currently listed copy is a rare exception and contains a blue “Including The World Wide Hit Single Venus” hype sticker with silver text at the top right corner on the front. You aren’t going to find this legendary hit single on the original Dutch issue as it was omitted from the track list, but was appended to the international versions both as an opening or closing track of Side 1. 1st print front-laminated flip back cover “printed and made by Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. Patent No. 943,895”. 1st print pink Penny Farthing Records labels with a bicycle logo and “PELS.500” catalog number. Very early 1st pressing with the following full matrix numbers: Side 1 - PELS 500 1Y //21 ▽420 1 1 1; Side 2 - PELS 500 2Y //1 1 1 1. The album comes with the original rare poly-lined inner sleeve.

 The laminated front flip back cover is very clean and is graded as Excellent Minus. It doesn't have any ring wear, splits, writing, residue or shelf wear. The front and back cover has a few light creases along the spine, which contains a fully readable text. Some light soiling on the corners with the bottom left and right corners having a light push in. The back cover has some light age discoloration and foxing. The glossy vinyl of this copy looks unplayed and is in Near Mint condition, practically Mint Minus. The vivid labels are very clean and in Mint Minus condition without having any spindle marks, scuffs or wear. The vinyl sounds great only having some very light occasional static which most likely would go away if the record was professionally cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine. The rare original poly-lined inner sleeve is in Near Mint condition and doesn't have any tears or splits.
